While still busy with school activities, updating or creating a new profile might seem too frustrating to do. And now that's a free time to—why not try it out. If you have a LinkedIn profile it would be nice to update it, as usual, to look more professional and attractive. LinkedIn is a platform for top employers around the world, and you as a student with an attractive profile, can be qualified for many employers within LinkedIn if you meet their needs. And again as a college student or high school so you are to create a profile, or even apply for certain jobs on LinkedIn if you're qualified for it during the break.
3. Learn New Skills.
Are there any skills you want to learn but got no chance due to college work? During summer breaks you have more time to learn such skills—you can go as far as meeting those who are PRO in it or go into self-teaching. What about if you don't have any skills you want to learn? But when willing to learn any skills, there are certain skills you can learn online for free, if you want to go into self-teaching yourself, though there are some that are being paid for. There are sites like Coursera, Udemy and many more you can learn from.
4. Spending Time With Your Loved Ones.
You already know that during summer breaks, you will be free except you have something important to take care of. Why not use that free time to share good memories with your loved ones? Visit your long last friends, distant grandparents, uncles and other relatives. As much as you need your loved ones, they also need you more, your presence and the memories you will share with them. So use your summer break visiting those who cared for you.
5. Write A Book
While publishing a book seems cool, creating time to write such a book might seem frustrating, especially if it's your first. Using your free time during l the summer break to write a book seems cool. I always advise others that if they want people to buy their books earlier, they should try to accomplish it while still in college, or before entering college—why do I say so?
College is a social world where you meet thousands of people and make new friends. In college, you can get more people to buy your book than when you are not in college. So trying to accomplish your book during summer break if you have any should be your first goal to achieve. You can also read my step by step guides on how to self publish a book.
